This restored mid-century-style storage chest pairs warm walnut casework with a fully cedar-lined interior, combining thoughtful function with a clean architectural profile.

The piece features a traditional cedar chest compartment concealed beneath a hinged lid, along with a full-width lower drawer for additional storage. Both the chest interior and drawer are lined in aromatic cedar, while the exterior's walnut has been fully refinished to highlight the natural grain.

New brass hardware was selected to reflect mid-century proportions, and the piece sits on tapered MCM-style legs with a sculpted apron that gives it a light, elevated stance. .

Original interior labels remain intact, preserving the piece’s history while complementing the restoration.
